Thank you for your request for information relating to 24/7 care at home for elderly people. Once again, please accept our apologies for the delay in responding.

The earliest date we can report from is 1st April  2021. The following responses are therefore since that date.

1. Have the NCC ever funded 24/7 care at home for elderly people, especially people with dementia
 
Yes, two people. Neither had a Primary Support Requirement of dementia.

2. How many elderly people have NCC funded for 24/7 care at home in the past 3 years

One person.

3. What criteria does NCC use to decide which elderly people get 24/7 care at home

There are no set criteria. Decisions are based on a comprehensive needs assessment and support plan which is completed with the individual and their family.

4. If the council has provided funding for 24/7 care what is the average amount they have paid and what is the largest amount 

Average:        £3575 per week
Largest Amount: £4355 per week
