Thank you for your email of 8 July 2025 where you requested:
 
  • How many private children’s care homes are in your area
  • Out of those, how many have a maximum for 2 childrenless

I am writing to advise you that, following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by this authority.  The responsibility for the registration of children’s care homes is that of Ofsted.  If you have not already done so you may wish to write to them at Ofsted, 2 Rivergate, BRISTOL, BS1 6EH or [email protected].
