Thank you for your request for:

I make further FOI Act 2000 / EIR 2004 request for an update in respect of the completion of “Rufford Ford Interim Report / Final Report” as referred to in correspondence 30/04/24.
 
  1. Please provide any copy of the analysis of all submitted public consultation responses including the number of such responses – those which oppose restriction and those that support restriction to vehicular traffic.
 
  1. Please provide all copies of any Reports to Members which relate to the future closure schedule of Rufford Lane at Rufford Ford.

We received your request on 20 November 2024.

Following careful consideration, I regret to inform you that we have decided not to disclose this information.

The information you request is being withheld because it falls under the exception in regulation 12(4)(d) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).  This regulation relate to:

(d) the request relates to material which is still in the course of completion, to unfinished documents or to incomplete data;

Currently the analysis of the responses to the public consultation is still ongoing and will be the subject of a report to the Cabinet Member for Transport and Highways in 2025.  The report will be published on our website when it is presented to the Cabinet Member.
 
In applying this exception, we have had to balance the public interest in withholding the information against the public interest in disclosure.  The factors we considered in deciding where the public interest lay are wishing to be open and transparent about the consultation against having to divert public resources to complete the analysis more quickly for your request as well as rushing to disclose the information could result in inaccuracies.
