Further to your request received I confirm that the Council has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
(a) Total amount of employees at Nottinghamshire County Council at present. 6165 employees
(b) Total amount of employees at Nottinghamshire County Council who have a home working contract (an employee specifically not linked to an office or Nottinghamshire County Council base location). Please present this disclosure as a number and as a percentage. There is no NCC policy with regards to official home-working contracts
(c) Total amount of employees at Nottinghamshire County Council who have a hybrid working contract at present. The number of employees working in a hybrid environment is not recorded centrally and is dealt with at a local level
(d) Total number of desks available to book at Nottinghamshire County Council offices.
We have approx. 2170 active desks available to NCC employees within our County office buildings. Of these only 222 are bookable. Desk booking has been trialled in a few buildings but is not something that has been rolled out across our offices as our office occupancy levels do not necessitate the need to book desks. All desks are flexible and can be used by any NCC employee at any of our office bases.
(e) Between 1st May 2025 and present, how many desk bookings are made across Nottinghamshire County Council offices on a monthly basis
We do not have booking figures as the accuracy would be in question as desks are often used without booking.
