not completed Potholes & Insurance claims (FOI/6299)

Message from Nottinghamshire County Council - 20 August 2025

Dear ***** *****

Request FOI/6299

Further to your request received on 15/08/2025, I confirm that the Council has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
1a. The number of unfixed potholes currently recorded under the council authority (as of August 15, 2025)

As of 14:20pm on 18/08/2025, there are currently 318 pothole jobs in our system awaiting repair.

We find that the term "pothole" is often used by the public to describe a range of road surface concerns - from surface crazing and ride quality issues to actual structural defects. When we receive a report, a highway inspector carries out an inspection. If any actionable defects are identified, a job is raised for repair.

1b. Could you provide the location of these unfixed potholes, i.e. what road they are located on

As of 14:20pm on 18/08/2025 This list will change daily as new jobs are raised, and existing jobs completed
