Thank you for your request for information relating to fire extinguisher servicing.
1. Does the council currently have a formal contract in place for fire extinguisher provision across:
a) its housing stock (temporary, emergency, social housing);
Nottinghamshire County Council is not a Housing Authority and so we do not hold this information. Housing is the responsibility of the second tier local authorities. You may already have contacted these, but if not, here are their contact details:

Yes.
3. If a contract is in place:
a) What is the name of the supplier or suppliers appointed to deliver each service/product
Nottinghamshire Fire Safety Limited delivered through Arc Partnership.
b) What is the scope of the contract (e.g. number of units, types of product, class of product)
The Contract covers over 200 operational sites and all units within them including supply and servicing.
c) What is the contract duration, including start and end dates and any extension options
This contract commenced 01/10/2022. It is currently set to end 30/09/2026. This will be procured within the next 12 months and in line with the Procurement Act 2023, a UK2 preliminary market engagement notice and a UK3 planned procurement notice have already been issued.
d) What is the pricing structure — including the current rate per door inspection
We confirm that we hold this information. The information is withheld under section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The pricing structure (including rates per item) constitutes commercially sensitive information. Disclosure would be likely to prejudice the commercial interests of both the contractor and the authority by revealing pricing information that competitors could use in future procurement exercises. The ICO has accepted in previous decisions that detailed tender and contract pricing information can engage section 43(2) where disclosure would undermine a supplier"s competitive position (for example, ICO Decision Notice FS50689233). Having considered the public interest, we recognise the value of transparency regarding public expenditure. However, we consider that the public interest in maintaining effective competition and securing best value through future procurement exercises outweighs the public interest in disclosure.
e) Was this contract awarded via a framework or dynamic purchasing system If so, which one
No. It was a contract awarded in compliance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
