Thank you for your email of 9th March 2026 where you requested information about staff sickness. The response to your request is provided below.

In your request you asked:

I would like to know how many sickness days have been recorded by Nottinghamshire County Council staff over the last three calendar years.

I would like the information to cover all sickness days taken by permanent staff at the county council and to be broken down by month across 2023, 2024, 2025 and the first two months of 2026.

Separately, I would also like to know the most common reasons for the sickness days (i.e. stress, mental health, infection etc.) - presented as a table showing the top three reasons for a sickness day across all the data.
