Thank you for your email of 4th September 2024 where you requested information about Elective Home Education 2023-2024.

The information you requested is provided below.

In your request you asked:

1. The number of school pupils who were newly registered as EHE in the academic year of 2023-24  - 758
 
2. If time allows, please could you also provide the total number of school pupils who were registered for EHE in the academic year of 2023-24 – 2,438
 
3. If time allows, please could you provide the number of pupils who have moved from elective home education back into school in the academic year of 2023-24 - 274
