Thank you for your request for information relating to Freedom of Information request - Penalty Charge Notices issued by ANPR Cameras.

We are now able to provide the following information:

1. How many Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) were issued for contravention of the aforementioned yellow box junction in the last twelve months

  • Warning Notices issued: 1,577
  • Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued: 83
2. Of the PCNs referred to in Question 1, how many were:
(a) Appealed successfully: 0
(b) Appealed unsuccessfully: 1
(c) Cancelled for reasons other than a successful appeal: 1,450
(d) Paid: 14
(e) Unpaid (including partial payment): 1,646
3. How much revenue has been generated by the PCNs referred to in Question 1
  • £630
4. How many Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) were issued for contravention of the aforementioned prohibition of left turns in the last twelve months
  • Warning Notices issued: 1,359
  • Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued: 22
5. Of the PCNs referred to in Question 4, how many were:
(a) Appealed successfully: 0
(b) Appealed unsuccessfully: 4
(c) Cancelled for reasons other than a successful appeal: 1,310
(d) Paid: 17
(e) Unpaid (including partial payment): 1,364
6. How much revenue has been generated by the PCNs referred to in Question 4
