Disclosure Log
Long-acting injectable buprenorphine Buvidal (FOI/7775)
Message from Nottinghamshire County Council - 17 April 2026
Dear Requester,
Request FOI/7775
Further to your request received on 16th April 2026, I confirm that the Council has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Question)
I realize now that question 3b. in my original request was ambiguously worded. To clarify what I’m asking for:
What I asked (but didn’t mean to): What proportion of your total OST caseload do the newly initiated Buvidal patients from [specific year] represent
What I actually want to know: What proportion of your total current OST caseload are patients currently receiving Buvidal treatment (regardless of when they were initiated)
In other words, I’m looking for the total number of active Buvidal patients as a percentage of your total active OST caseload, not just the percentage represented by new initiations in a single year.
If your previous response provided the proportion for newly initiated patients only, could you please provide the proportion that all current Buvidal patients represent of your total OST caseload
Answer)
The information provided to you in your response for FOI/7564 was the same set of information for this question. For transparency, please refer to the response to this question below:
3b. For 2025/26, this represents 4.2% of Opiate caseloads.
We hope you find this information useful.
