Thank you for your email of 28 June 2025 where you requested information about electively home educated children.

The information you requested is:

The number of children who were withdrawn from formal education for the purposes of elective home education (EHE), and who had an EHCP with your council at the time of deregistration, between the following time periods:

1st January - 31st December 2020 - 34

1st January - 31st December 2021 - 62

1st January - 31st December 2022 - 111

1st January - 31st December 2023 - 121

1st January - 31st December 2024 - 125
