Questions & Answers)
Email exchange with Gedling and Broxtowe Senior District Highway Manager concerning review of existing parking arrangements on Lingwood Lane in Woodborough has questioned the extent to which current parking is monitored.

For information, photos of recurring compliance issues are attached but perhaps to assist consideration of the requested review, referring only to the roadway and pavements between Main Street and the Woodborough Woods School and initially for the past 12-month period, you are asked to provide the following information:

  1. The number of visits to the location by Civil Enforcement Officers for the purpose of monitoring parking behaviour.
The camera car has visited this location 5 times.
  1. The extent of recorded failure to comply with defined parking restrictions and NCC required/published good practice.
N/A
  1. The number of Enforcement Notices issued during the 12-month period.
During the camera car patrols 0 PCNs have been issued.
  1. Any other information held which is relevant to parking in the location.
Main Street does not have any restrictions apart from the junction protectors to Lingwood. No complaints have been received to indicate this area was experiencing problematic parking, however, as a complaint has now been received, we will arrange for a civil enforcement officer to visit as soon as possible.

We have checked for complaints regarding this area, and we have received 1 on 08/04/2026, this also includes this FOI request.

We hope you find this information useful.
