FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REFERENCE FOI/7334
Thank you for your request for information relating to Sponsorship of Flags Installed Near Public Highways.
We are now able to provide the following information:
1. The number of businesses that have sponsored the flags erected near public highways within Nottinghamshire as part of the current installation programme.

2. The names of all businesses that have provided sponsorship for these flags.

3. A breakdown of the total cost to the Council (or its contractors) for the installation, maintenance, and removal of these flags to date.

4. The total amount of income received from business sponsorships relating to these flags.

5. Any documentation, agreements, policy statements that outline how the sponsorship scheme operates, including: Eligibility criteria for sponsorship, Sponsorship fees, how sponsorship income is used, any commitments statements made regarding whether the scheme would not cost taxpayers money

Response - We have had a small number of enquiries from organisations expressing interest in sponsoring some of the banners; however, we have not yet enter into any sponsorship agreements, as we are doing our due diligence to make sure, we have the necessary approvals and planning permissions in place first.
