Message from Nottinghamshire County Council - 23 June 2025
Dear ***** *****,
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REFERENCE FOI/6010
Thank you for your request for information relating to Freedom of Information request - Council Business Tenders for Local Authorities.
We are now able to provide the following information:
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information for the financial years 2022/23 and 2023/24:
A) The number of business tenders awarded by your authority.
B) The total value (£) of those tenders awarded.
If possible, please break both figures down by industry or sector (e.g. construction, IT services, professional services, etc.). If this breakdown isn"t available, the overall totals would still be greatly appreciated.
If available, I"d also be grateful if you could indicate how many of these tenders were awarded to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), defined as businesses with fewer than 250 employees, and either an annual turnover not exceeding £36 million or a balance sheet total not exceeding £18 million, in line with the UK Government"s definition.
If your records use SIC codes to classify tenders, please include the codes or descriptions.
If you cannot provide data for both years, please share what is available.. I would also welcome any guidance or related datasets that might provide similar insight.
All the requested information on past contracts and tenders can be found via the contracts register (East Midlands Procurement Portal - Home)
We trust this now satisfies your request and that you find this information to be helpful, however if you are unhappy with the way in which your request has been handled, then please email us at [email protected] quoting the reference FOI/6010 and we will be happy to review your request
