Further to your request received on 27th October 2025, I confirm that the Council has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000/Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

Questions)
I request the following information concerning your authority’s arrangements for adult-social-care charging and contractual documentation issued to service users or their representatives.
Please provide:

 
  1. Copies of all current versions (and, if available, those used in the previous financial year) of any financial or contractual agreement forms issued by the Council to individuals or third parties in connection with:
 
    • Residential or nursing-care placements (including respite care);
    • Deferred-payment agreements;
    • Third-party “top-up” contributions; and
    • Any other written agreements requiring a resident, representative, or contributor to make payment toward care fees.
 
  1. The full Terms and Conditions, schedules, or guidance notes that accompany or form part of those agreements, including any explanatory leaflets or covering letters issued to service users when they are asked to sign.
 
  1. Any internal or public guidance documents provided to staff that describe when and how these forms must be given to service users, and what statutory or consumer-law information (for example, cancellation rights, capacity checks, or independent-advice references) must be included.
