FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REFERENCE FOI/7244.
Thank you for your request for information relating to the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Please provide the following information relating to the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) currently used by Nottinghamshire County Council:
ATS details
• The name of the Applicant Tracking System currently in use: Exempt (see below)
• The supplier/vendor of the system: Exempt (see below)
Contract information
• The start date of the current ATS contract: 01 April 2024
• The end date of the current ATS contract: 31 March 2027
• Any extension options included within the contract (if applicable): Needs to be considered against Local Government Reform (LGR)
• Contract value (£): £210k
Future procurement
• Whether the Council intends to re-tender for the ATS at the end of the current contract: Needs to be considered against LGR
• If known, the anticipated timeframe for any future tender or procurement process: None
Contract ownership
• The job title and department of the officer with primary responsibility for managing the current ATS contract: Steve Brooks, Recruitment Manager - HR
Procurement responsibility
• The job title and department of the person primarily responsible for procurement of recruitment or HR systems within the Council: Holly Fisher, Category Manager – Procurement
For this FOI, we are not supplying any specific information on any Applicant Tracking application or suppliers.
This is exempt information under section 31 of Freedom of Information Act. The public interest in disclosure for transparency, scrutiny and accountability of public bodies is outweighed by the public interest in ensuring the risks to operations and assets of public authorities are not exposed to malicious actors.
This is due to the following:
1. Any information that could be used by hackers, scammers, and other malicious actors to compromise the Council’s ICT systems and cyber security should not bedisclosedto external organisations,partnersor members of the public.
2. Examples of information which could be used by malicious actors, particularly ifcomprisedof details relating toshort timeperiods of less than a year, include:
• Use of external cyber/online security contractors, firms; and
• Details of ICT and cyber security systems, procedures,policiesand contracts particular to the Council
