FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REFERENCE FOI/5718

Thank you for your request for information relating to Projected EHCP School Leavers.

We are now able to provide the following information in the attached pdf document provided.
Please provide the following data for your local authority area regarding projected school leavers with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP):

  1. The number of pupils with an EHCP who are expected to leave school in summer 2025 and summer 2026 (e.g., Year 11, Year 13, Year 14).
  2. Please break this information down by:
    • School name
    • School type (mainstream or special school, including whether LA-maintained or independent)
    • Expected year group of exit (e.g., Year 11, Year 14)
  3. If available, please also include the anticipated post-school destinations for each leaver (e.g., further education, supported internship, training, employment, NEET).
