      This is not recorded.
  1. How many claims have been made due to damage caused by the hole and the associated holes with 2ms of this hole.
Since the 1 April 2025 1 claim has been received for the defect reported in claim ref: 25NCPL/40396. Two other claims were received for Southwell Road, Thurgarton for two different defects but we are unable to confirm if they were within 2m of the defect reported in claim ref: 25NCPL/40396.
  1. How many times you have paid out for damage caused by this hole and the associated holes with 2ms of this hole
Since the 1 April 2025, no compensation has been paid for claims relating to defects on Southwell Road, Thurgarton.
  1. The total cost of repairs carried out on the hole
     This is not recorded and forms part of the wider maintenance budget.
6. The amount of damage caused by this pothole and ones with 2ms of this holeFurther to your request received I confirm that the Council has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
We do not record the damage caused. We are only notified of damage when we receive a claim for compensation. The number of claims received has been confirmed in our response to Q3.
