Thank you for your request for information relating to FOI - Planning status of oil well sites at Dukes Wood & Kirklington.

Whip Ridding -3/22/01583/CMA Planning application to retain the existing wellsite for a temporary extended period.  (the well is currently undergoing geothermal appraisal)

Kirklington - 3/23/00009/CMA - Variation of conditions 1 and 3 of planning permission 3/21/00282/CMA - to retain the site for a further 12 month period for the purposes of geothermal testing in conjunction with the nearby Whip Ridding Farm wellsite.

The site has been plugged and is awaiting restoration with details subject to a current application.
