Thank you for your email of 4th November 2024 where you requested information about the Information Governance Department structure and pay. The response to your request is provided below.

Data Protection Officer – Band E

Specifically, who is the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and if they hold any other titles / responsibilities.
Jason Monks is currently Acting Data Protection Officer. The DPO role also incorporates the role of Senior Responsible Officer for CCTV. The DPO is the team manager for the Information Governance Team.
Who on the Board of Directors may have previously held the DPO position (Name and Position in the Council), but no longer does, given this is no longer recommended due to a conflict of interest.
