Your Request
Please provide the following information for the most recent three financial years where data is available:
1. The total number of EHC plan assessment requests received by Nottinghamshire County Council
2. The total number of EHC plan assessment requests refused, and the most common reasons given for refusal
3. The average time taken from initial request to completion of an EHC plan assessment
4. The percentage of EHC plan assessments completed within the statutory 20-week timeframe
5. The total number of SEND tribunal appeals lodged against Nottinghamshire County Council
6. The total number of SEND tribunal appeals in which the decision went in favour of the family
7. The total number of children and young people currently on the waiting list for an EHC plan assessment, and the average current waiting time

We confirm that we hold this information; however its provision is exempt under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (information already reasonably accessible). The information can be found at https://explore-education-statistics.service.gov.uk/find-statistics/education-health-and-care-plans/2025. Data on this site go back as far as 2019. You can use the site to create tables of the specific information you need. The exemption is absolute and there is no requirement to conduct a public interest test.
